The Valle del Itata's Wine Tourism Association is an organization that works to highlight the extraordinary wine, cultural, gastronomic and tourist heritage of the 13 communes that make up the Itata Valley, in the Ñuble Region. This territory, cradle of the first vines planted in Chile, combines a rich ancestral winemaking tradition with modern innovations that make it a unique destination for wine and culture lovers.
Through partnerships and collaboration between local winegrowers, entrepreneurs, restaurants, hotels, public organizations, institutions and academia, we promote a comprehensive, quality and sustainable wine tourism offer. The experiences offered by the Valley include tastings of wines produced using traditional methods, tours of historic vineyards, stays in accommodations with local charm, and unique gastronomic experiences where chefs and winegrowers work together to highlight the flavors of the territory.
Our partner restaurants specialize in creating menus based on local products, paired with the Valley's wines, offering visitors an immersion in the culinary culture of the region. In addition, the Valley's hotels and rural accommodations invite tourists to relax in a natural setting, surrounded by the warmth and hospitality of its people.
